NU offered unranked wing Yavuz Gultekin, aka the "Turkish Ticket", on Wednesday and I got a chance to trade DMs with him yesterday. He emigrated from Turkey 13 months ago and already has 12 offers, including six in the last eight days. The kid is blowing up.
He's 6-8 and can play multiple positions and coaches like his high basketball IQ. He doesn't talk to coaches, only his guardian does, so he doesn't know much about NU or Coach Collins. But he said that his guardian was impressed by Collins' "professionalism". He said he's considering a visit to NU but really wasn't sure.
