Is Taphorn light on defense ?...or something?.... there have been several games where start missing shots and it grows like a virus...if I am the coach and I sense a scoring drought I put Tap in and work the open shot to him. I have not seen all the games but it seems the ones I have seen Taphorn seems are best shooter..

Tap has added the dribble drive to his arsenal this season. Team play him to shoot the three but in Big 10 play he hasn't been reluctant to put the ball on the floor. I'm so happy for him that he is ending his career on a high note.

The dribble drive has been effective when he has been in the game long enough to use it. He is also a much more physical player and will not be pushed around. I am solidly impressed with his improvement this season.

It was also great to see the bench players respond with solid performances, except for the tiny Ash cameo. I am still wondering why no Brown.

You hit the nail on the head and it's called defense or not so much in his case.

Brown = Doghouse? Otherwise the is no other reason that Ash played and he didn't. Or he could have been sick, maybe?

He was probably sick or hurt. Collins mentioned after Indiana that a number of players were banged up.
