He's been on the golf beat. He is still Trib's primary NU reporter although Fred Mitchell sometimes covers the Cats.

I saw a tweet from Teddy that said he was going to be on the more general Big Ten beat and that Fred Mitchell was going to be the primary reporter for NU.

This makes sense esp. with his frequent appearances on BT Net and his golf responsibilities. Mitchell was the primary NU hoops reporter last winter.

It's too bad. Teddy goes a little off the reservation sometimes, but he's a much better writer with much better sources than Fred.
