Ten Questions: Will Ben Bryant be the answer at QB?

If we can do something - anything- to give him some protection, he'll produce. Can't let him get clobbered.

I hope so, but probably not. Until we get better caliber linemen, this poor guy is going to see a ton of pressure. And if it is true that he is a "statue", then he is in serious trouble. You want to recruit a top QB, then bring in a pass oriented offense that will also bring in really good receivers. Sticking with the ball control offense only worked if you had a top notch defense. That day has passed unfortunately. These short term solutions at QB only hurt the program in the long run. It hurts recruiting in than it shows that the coaches can't really develop QBs. The ball control stuff isn't going to get them even a sniff of getting into the NFL, so why bother going to NU? Fitz needs to channel coach Walker and get something dynamic going. Or at least let Bajakian loose and let him do his thing. Sorry Fitz, we aren't going to win with what the team is doing now.

In lack of better words fitz plays not to lose. Esp if he has a late lead. Obviously it hasn’t worked over the past two seasons. Time to play to win!

He will have to overcome all the odds because his head coach refuses to put him in a position that maximizes success. His head coach has let oline development fall off a cliff and has yet to rectify, refuses to implement a modern offensive scheme, kept a useless wr position coach for 6 years longer than deserved, refuses to allow his special teams to even play football, among other things.

Here’s hoping for the best!

So when did he have the lead late last year?
