The NIT and CBI talk is a lot of fun and all, but the win streak is all about the recruiting.

1-10 in conference had to make it tougher on both sides of the blue-chipper discussions.

Now, Big Ten media is jam packed with positive NU messaging....win streak....team no one wants to face...Chris Collins...etc., etc.

Somewhere in the last two wins the poor start has been neutralized. CCC has more than enough now to sell the program with '16 and '17 recruits. And even one '15 recruit....

The win streak makes all the difference in the world to NU recruiting.

I think you are totally right. Even if they falter going forward you can always spin it that it is a very long season compared to High School and the freshman, who played tons of minutes, have shown their talent now but burned out. Hopefully, they won't burn out and will pick up 4 or 5 more wins.

I feel like the home game against Michigan is essential. I twill be the last home game. Does anyone know how we match up against them?

Yep - that was my main concern w/ the losing streak continuing (conditions set up for CC to lose out on the recruiting end).

While certainly frustrating, the most impt. thing for me was for the 'Cats to be competitive in games.
