‘95 Miami of Ohio is actually a fantastic comparison. So does this mean Gerald Gillion will be our coach in the next five years?
All kidding aside, what a terrible performance. We didn’t lose cause of bad luck. We lost cause we were outplayed, out hustled, and out coached.
That said, I have no difference in the opinion of our team after this game. We’re still a good team that had a bad night when a bad team had a great night. That happens sometimes. It shows how thin the margin of error is.
Unfortunately, this is a terrible loss that is a diarrhea stain on our resume. It’s the kind of loss that could cost you a bid if you are on the bubble. Even on a bad night, you gotta find a way to win, and we didn’t get it done. Credit to Chicago State. They deserved that win.

Worse than Miami Ohio since that doesn’t cost you a rose bowl spot and this could easily cost us the dance
That Miami (OH) team was actually good. They ended with as many losses as Northwestern.
No way. We’ll make or miss the dance because of our Big Ten record. The Big is not a powerhouse this year. If we can’t do it there, we don’t deserve to go dancing.
