The 3-2-1 going into Week 5

Nice job @mikefitz77.

Re: 1.Is Ryan Field a tough place to play? I posited that perhaps it is an unpleasant place for visitors, which brings fewer, less enthusiastic fans. MN didn't have a big turnout.. Now, I really like Ryan Field, warts and all, and pur players are only there like 35 hours PER YEAR. Perhaps it is good to get in the opponents' heads like how OSU dislikes our long grass (though their cheerleaders like it for grazing). It's a silly hypothesis, but why roll out the red carpet for visitors? Fans can stay home and their players can be uncomfortable. For that matter, bring on the inclement weather (see OSU and PSU last year)

The lack of crowd could be disorienting to teams used to being energized playing in front of 80,000.

If only we could have conditions like the PSU game last year, we might have a chance. Last year our offense had no ability to capitalize on all those turnovers.

Uh, Penn State isn’t used to playing in front of 80,000.
