With victories over Western Michigan, Kent State, Richmond, Norfolk State, Illinois State, Southern Illinois, and Stanford.

One of these things is not like the others.

I think you left out one more that belongs in "the others" - Temple. (You are kidding, the Big Ten team that played them didn't win?)

^ Temple is a team loaded with veterans and led by a smart coach.

Would have given the 'Cats trouble (esp. w/ an inexperienced QB).

I thought Temple won? So it didn't qualify for the list of "Victories over". Wait am I not reading you correctly again.

The broader version of that point is that only one power 5 conference underdog won on Saturday. Guess which one?

You can add Virginia Tech to the list. And , to be honest having seen both games, I think Temple would have given us a tougher time than Stanford. Stanford just didn't play very well at all. Now, some of that was our doing, but let's not knock Temple; they played an excellent game after digging themselves a 10-0 hole against a team they hadn't beat in forever.
