Since Lumpkin dunked to end the Wisconsin game, he has scored 6 points (none in the last two games). I assume it is the basketball gods punishing the Cats for us taking a moment of joy, as outside of a completely stagnant offense, I can think of no other good reason for this.

Then Wisconsin is done too since Nigel Hayes dunked on a play nearly identical to the Lumpkin play with 10 seconds left in their game against Maryland last weekend when the Badgers were up 9.

Actually Lumpkin scoring drought began as NU entered the conference season. Need to face facts, that he is limited offensively but still contributes on the defensive end. Sure wish that Falzon was playing these next 3 games.

Not exactly true, as Lumpkin has scored in the double-digits in 8 games this season, including the wins over Wake, Dayton and Indiana.

Yes, we all know, Lumpkin is not a big part of the offense, but at the same time, he doesn't take too many shots (when he does, he has a pretty good efficiency).

While you have repeatedly talked about Lumpkin's offense (or lack thereof), don't seem to recall you saying anything about Law's slump on offense.

In the narrow win over RU and the losses to UI and IU - Law scored 8, 3 and 4 points.

Over the past 5 games, Law is 10 of 42 (.238).

Over the past 8 games, Law is 17 of 75 (.226).

Isn't Law supposed to be the best player (or at least, the most physically talented) on the team?
