The David Braun Era begins with a thud

The guys to blame (Schill and Gragg) have made it pretty clear that Braun won't be head coach next year.
Ignoring the effect that will have on this season, as they seem to do.

Throw a rookie into the head coaching position, then tell the team he's probably going to be replaced, regardless of how things go... thats sharp thinking right there.

Everything the two clowns have done so far has detracted from team morale.

I'd give "forfeits" a 10% chance as players realize there's no downside to "getting injured."

I'm not at all defending the two incompetents but this is pure speculation on your part.

I think if Northwestern continues to call Braun the "interim head coach" then that means they are searching for a replacement. They tried (and failed) to find a head coach after they fired Fitzgerald. Then they named Braun "interim head coach" out of pure desperation.

It seems to me that this is a strong indication that Braun will not be the head coach next year.
Unless they can't find somebody else.
