The Demps corner three was so beautifully executed

How gutsy to have the primary shooter flowing away from the ball.
How gutsy to ask your senior leader to make a pass from one block to the opposite corner.

There was basically one option on the play, and they nailed it.

For all the aggressiveness and scoring and boarding down the stretch, that pass was Cobb's signature senior day play. He's the only one to be trusted with that kind of crunch time execution.

Totally agree. What made that play even more impressive was where it was in-bounded from. That is not an easy place to get the ball in from. After the game, CC gave all the credit to Brian James for drawing it up in the timeout. Great call and perfect execution.

+1... Demps 3 pointer in OT-1 was...

totally dependent on 2 major athletic pre-shot plays:

1. Law's spot-on in-bounds pass to Cobb cutting from the FT line down the right side of the key towards the baseline
2. Cobb's seamless grab of that in-bounds pass then maintaining his composure to ride his momentum to the baseline, halt that momentum and make a 2nd pin-point pass past the out-stretched hand of a close-guarding Mich defender to a wide-open Demps who had executed a very well-timed cut from above the key to the far baseline corner setting up his game-tying 3-point shot

The conception of that in-bounds play during the prior time-out was truly a remarkable piece of coaching.

It sure doesn't hurt to have an experienced NBA coach on your staff.
