Must read piece from Vanity Fair detailing how the Trump administration has not only completely failed in their response, but also made many politically motivated decisions that were not in the best interest of the country.

This is how you turn a bad situation into a disaster. Now we have privately funded foundations leading the charge and doing the work the government decided not to do so that they could point the finger at others. What a disgrace.

I’m sure @ricko654321 will tell us all about how we’re just misreading the facts though.

This line refers to the lack of timely results, but really describes this whole alleged quarantine period to me:

“If you’re pedaling really hard and not going anywhere, it’s all for naught.”

Lots of effort (defined as “stay the eff home”) from lots of people, but no progress except for a few areas.

I used to read Breitbart, but couldn’t deal with all the pop ups.

And just for the record, you do understand how journalism works in many cases, right? Especially in this day and age, there are a lot of freelance journalists that have their work picked up by media outlets. It’s yet another product of large companies protecting the incomes of the Executive suite at the expense of the people doing the heavy lifting.

There is some fantastic work out there being done by people not permanently on any company’s payroll. Their role is becoming an integral part of informing the public.

You seem to have everything figured out, so I’m guessing you knew that though.
