Horrendous loss for Purdue. B10 sucks this year and it will likely be exposed more in this tournament. No way Collins can schedule the dogshit OOC ever again thinking that B10 by itself will be enough for respect.

They don't suck/ The 5-12 is a hard matchup. In 25 or the last 28 years, a 12 has beaten a 5 and often more than one upset has occurred So far this year 2 out of 3. Purdue was disappointing but it happens every year. Purdue has been a Jeckle and Hyde all year with great first half performances and then letdowns in the second half. They and Indiana probably both deserved 3 seeds and a 3-14 matchup is completely different.Horrendous loss for Purdue. B10 sucks this year and it will likely be exposed more in this tournament. I did not watch most of the game but the announcers were saying throughout the OT that Purdue did not have a PG in or even a defensive guard. Anyone know why? Didn;t hear that anyone had fouled out.PU choked big time. Were up 14 with less than 5:00 to go and quit playing. Poor PG play killed them.

I was just wondering why they were saying that PU did not have a PG on the court. They gave no details.A Purdue fan came on this board after NU played PU and said exactly the same thing, that the only weakness the Boilers had was PG, and with BMac they would be a final four team. Alas, BMac never transferred to PU and the Boilers will watch the rest of March Madness with the Cats, from their dorm rooms.

It sounded like it was at least most of both OTs and some in Regulation. Any reason why? Injury, fouls,? It just doesn't make sense otherwise and would seem like questionable coaching decision. There were in fact possessions late in regulation and in Ot where they did not have one of the PGs on the floor.

ThanksThey were laying off the PG because he was no threat to score and doubling Hammons. Painter removed the PG to try to free up Hammons in the post. Didn't help.
