It starts off saying that NU/UM is the number 1 game of the week-end and then runs through six highpoints of the week. All of which exclude NU. Especially check out item #4 "the best unit in the B1G." If you are calm up to that point, that should stir you up some.

Yes, I am just looking for things to get fired up about. It is part of being a fan.

I think we have a really good shot at winning this game. Go Cats!!

This one is not disrespectful at all (although they predict a UM victory), I include it because it had some interesting things to say such as

OK, yes, I can’t help but note all of this with growing anticipation… I even subscribed to the Big Ten Network yesterday to make sure I could watch this game tomorrow…

There’s been a huge swing on the Vegas boards in this one, by the way. The line opened as Michigan -12 and has plummeted to a TD, probably due to a rash of Wolverine injuries on the defensive line and also including starting tailback De’Veon Smith (questionable for Saturday).

I don’t think NU is going to score much. I am convincing myself that I don’t think Michigan will score much. I also believe Michigan probably wins this game, but it won’t be a blow out.

So in a game where points are going to be at a premium, I’ll grab the TD and see if NU can just score 10 points… then keep Michigan under 17.

Its a homer paper so they have to go with UM but the following quote should get your dander up:

With the Wolverines' current confidence, against a team averaging just 25 points per game despite having played Eastern Illinois and Ball State, this should be a tune-up for next week's showdown.
BUT I really like this quote, and think it an omen for what will happen tomorrow:

The last time the Wildcats were ranked as high as No. 13? When they reached No. 12 on Nov. 5, 2000, it came just after snapping Michigan’s consecutive shutouts with a 54-51 win.

I remember thinking we were toast that entire game. Then came the final minute or so. I hope we make it a little easier tomorrow.
