So I looked at this baby.....with 3.5 Ash closes down Alverado who attempts to pass to the guy Falzone is guarding who is Alston.. Jackson actually jumps in to take the pass and in doing so rubs Law out , Looks like if Law had gone under Falzone he would have forced Jackson to take a 3. I am thinking if Alston had gotten the pass he would have chucked up a 3. So with 2.5 Jackson has a clear path to the hoop. Law stuck behind Falzone....Pardon and BMac starting to react from the weakside. Ash coming off his guy from the top.Pardon gets over,,,, BMac stays with his guy and boxes out....and with 1.3 Jackson goes up with the left hand (is he left handed?) keeping the ball away from the long arms of Pardon.Ball enters hoop with 0.00 Law grabs his head, Ash slumps his shoulders, Falzone stares at BMAC like wtf, BMac grabs ball and slowly walks toward bench. There was only one shot and I did not see anyone on the grassy knoll.
The real damage was done when Law got blocked unintentionally by Falzone.....I am guessing they had defensive instructions to stick with their guy, no switch no help.....In the end just a crazy kind of play. If Alston had caught the pass like it was intended he was guarded well by Falzone and would have been difficult for him to score and if he passed would be little or no time left....Tough loss

Crean said that if Falzon had been a few steps higher up, he would've altered the drive. To me it seemed Falzon lost his positioning and like you pointed out, actually rubbed off Law. If we had Sanjay, I'm certain he would've stopped that play. But we don't have Sanjay. Falzon will learn from this.

I really think the pass was meant for #4.....watch he has his hands out and is focused on the pass....and therefore Falzone is ready to defend 4 and therefore not thinking about helping Law or defending #1 till it is too late
