I finally got in touch with four-star wing Saddiq Bey. He said that he will be announcing his favorites later this week. I asked, and he assured me that NU would be on the list. So that's great news.
I also asked if he's been hearing from NU point guard commit Jordan Lathon. "Yeah," he said. "A lot." That kid should be getting paid by the staff. He is really working Bey, Kopp and THT.
I traded texts with Lathon, too. He didn't know anything about new big man offer Ryan Young. But I have a feeling Mr. Young will be hearing from him soon.
