"Northwestern's student section dusted off the old "Hoosier daddy" taunt Sunday night inside Welsh-Ryan Arena, the scene of the home team's sixth straight conference victory.

The play on words was nothing compared with the Wildcats' play on the court against Indiana. Northwestern beat the Hoosiers 68-55 for its longest Big Ten winning streak since the 1932-33 season.

Bryant McIntosh, the junior guard who grew up an hour from Indiana University, led his team in points (21), assists (eight) and confidence when it comes to the Wildcats' NCAA tournament hopes.

Northwestern, 7-2 in conference for the first time since 1937-38, is hungry, McIntosh said.
