I’ve read on Twitter and in at least two threads here that THERE ARE RECORDINGS of the initial whistleblower saying that he intended to lie in his complaint and that he intended to get Pat Fitzgerald fired.
1. Who has these recordings?
2. Has anyone heard these recordings?
3. When were the recordings made?
4. Did anything in the Daily’s reporting conflict with the initial emailed complaint? (I swear Rittenberg posted the complaint, but I can’t find it.)
5. Since the reporting came out on Saturday, has *anyone, anyone at all* denied that there was hazing of a sexual nature in the Northwestern locker room?
6. If there was hazing of a sexual nature, doesn’t it stand to reason that firing the leader is a reasonable consequence?
7. If the whistleblower’s intent was to get Pat Fitzgerald fired, how does that affect your answers to #5 and #6?
Let’s not become Penn State fans. Bad stuff went down. Firing was a reasonable consequence.
If they had announced a four-game or six-month suspension instead of a two-week vacation during vacation time, Pat Fitzgerald would likely still be the head coach.
