Tusk V, Arkansas’ Live Mascot Passes Away

Tusk V, the live mascot of the University of Arkansas Razorbacks, passed away on Sunday afternoon, January 15, 2023, at his home outside of Dardanelle, Ark. Tusk V died of natural causes and was laid to rest on the Stokes Family farm.

My next door neighbor is a Georgia alum and rabid fan. He has bulldog pets, and names them for former UGA greats. Since I have lived here, he's had Dooley, Girley and Hershel. Dooley passed away and he had him stuffed by a taxidermist. The stuffed dog now resides in the living room, kind of an ironic place to be if you ask me......

UGA 10 did not make the trip to the CFP Championship game, as air travel is very dangerous for short-nosed dogs.

I was pretty disappointed that they didn’t make the cross country drive.

That's disturbing.

Though when our Dachshund Puppy died, my wife wanted to get another Dachshund and name her Puppy too. But, probably the stuffed dog is more disturbing in my eyes.
