It's not a fluke, it's not lucky, the Cats are a seriously good team. The team has playmakers all over the floor, plays good defense, has depth, and the coach to take them where they want to go. Tonite they beat Indiana easily, while not playing their best ball. A clear sign of a very good team.
Shockingly, they even have a significant home court advantage with a large and loud crowd at WR arena. Go Cats!

Yup.

No gimmicks, luck or fluky wins. Hard nose defense and a smooth motion offense. Held IU to their lowest point total of the season (albeit with 2 key guys out). Arrow pointed up for NU basketball.

The fact that NU was in control for most of the game against a team stacked with talent was convincing. It sucks IU was down a couple of their stars, but they still had a stable full of studs.

So, what would qualify as a signature upset? MY or WI on the road? Win in semis or finals of BTT? Seems like the B1G is absent any real dominant force but shows parity up and down. I don't see NU as a double digit dog going forward so real big upset is not on the menu. Therefore, I think they steal one at MY or WI and it shocks no one.

Time to get the dancing shoes warmed up.

Beating WI in Kohl would be an upset. Badgers will not take NU lightly. Cats match up well with the Badgers but it will be a very difficult game to win. Beating IU a second time in Bloomy would also be an upset. And Wednesdays game against a PU team that will be angry after blowing the NE game will definitely be difficult.

Yo walkee, remember this one?

You’re really that insecure?

Well, I think he's making a point after being challenged. I don't appreciate it, but it's not really about insecurity as much as it is dealing with someone who is wrong, just doing it in kind of an annoying way. (Bob, try linking it instead).

Thank Goodness wrassler and Ash have stepped up our games this year! Gonna be a great run for both of us!

I get it. But I endure quite a lot of board bullying, especially gcg and Corbi picking on folks. If all agree to stop that practice, I will stop highlighting what a fool walkee is. Gcg, Corbi - deal? Not just talking about me, but all the people that you pester. And Va and mike too. Everyone lay of posters and let people express their thoughts NU sports, whether you like, agree with, find in good taste, or not.

Then, I will engage my ignore feature on walkbaby.

So much for taking the high ground......;)

Never said I would. Until, unless there is a universal agreement. Besides, I’m having fun. As much fun bantering with walkles, I also enjoy the consternation caused to a few readers that take all this way too seriously.
