You know it’s bad when Collins is straight-up telling Lathon that the team has lost its edge, but that was just embarrassing. This is a broken team.

Quote from Lathon in a recent story.Did you hear him say that to Lathon, or...?

Correct on the depth. In my opinion, the team started "going south", when it became apparent that we were getting little help from the bench. It seems that neither Brown or Falzon are approaching their freshman year performance. Falzon was very disappointing because GS really isn't a starting player in the Big.That quote is at least two weeks ago and you bring it up now?
You need depth. This is the thinnest team in the B1G. You need players ( lots of them) to win.
You stole my line, but you I agree. They're broken and that's the only way I can describe what we've seen game in and game out this year. As we saw in the first half it's not a lack of talent. We can compete with anyone and are very talented. We're just broken. You know it’s bad when Collins is straight-up telling Lathon that the team has lost its edge, but that was just embarrassing. I really think you are on to something....Brown and Falzone do not look like they are physically back to 100% and with Ivanaskus out .with Ash improved but still with lots of room to go....Benson is the biggest disappointment to me, not injured but not improved, he just got pushed and moved around like a game piece yesterday. When MSU let our stand and shoot shooters get set we took it to them...in the second half when they moved us off the 3 point line and contested those 3 pointers we were done. But I do not think it is a broken team....It was probably too late when they realized that things would not happen this year because they happened last year....but I am going to continue to root for these guys. Still think they play hard and represent just kind of like driving a car on 3 wheels. Hope seniors get a full house at the last home game.Correct on the depth. And Benson, appears to be only marginally improved from last year. Gaines has only started to contribute in the last few games.
OCC was tougher than expected and we are just to thin to be real competitive in the tough Big 10 schedule. Just my thoughts.
