I remember viewing the preseason B10 projections at the beginning of the season and feeling bad for the Wildcats, AND Collins (whom I like). What has taken place, including the resilient win last night, is one of the most improbably turnarounds I've seen in sports. Every single person that's been apart of this deserves massive accolades. Speaking personally, it's turned several secondhand, passive NU fans into hardcore fans.

Coach Chris Collins has been a high class act from the get go at nu! He is a great person and wonderful coach. I cannot be happier that he is the leader of our team! Glad to see all the success this season. Now...let's upset ucla!!
I texted an NU friend last night. At this point, our correspondence is 100% around the NCAA tournament pool, and nothing else.
In our last correspondence, 3/17/22, I wrote that it’d be a minimum three seasons (so, until 2024-25) until our NU hoopsters would be ‘acceptable’ again, and that the apparent 23-24 rotation (Berry-Barney-Big Matt-Roper-Hunger-Simmons) brings back memories of 0-16.
He agreed.
In our defense, we didn’t know about Martinelli or Verhoeven when we had that exchange.
What a great season. Best ever.
