I'm in Evanston and realized I could go to the BB game tomorrow. I've never been to WR and have no idea what I'm doing or the best way to get a ticket.

Any suggestions?

I bought 4 tickets on StubHub. It looks like I will have extras. Check your personal messages in a few minutes

If either of you have a problem using the personal messenger speak up.also, Deering, I think you should go to the game with docrugby because he is usually good for a free drink.

I just messaged Doc back. Couldn't leave a message on your phone though. Box was full.

I'm so glad for you that you're going!

There will be tons of tickets. Just make sure you get in the lower bowl. This is the kind of game where it's easy to do. I'd give you mine but I can't think of a way to get them to you that is t more hassle than the tickets are worth (which will be about $10 if you hang around outside the stadium and find the right person). You're 50/50 to just be handed a pair on a "just buy me a hot dog and we're square" promise if you wear enough purple.

Deemingfish and I have arranged a meeting at Bluestone @ 11:30

Come enjoy lunch before the game

Can you park in the West Lot for the game? How much does it cost ?

Had a good time meeting docrugby1 for lunch and going to my first Cat's BB game since childhood. Bryant almost put the Cats to sleep early in the second half but the Cats woke up in time to stretch the lead back out. It was never really in doubt.

B. Mac struggled especially with his jumper but Skelly and Lindsey and Law were really fun to watch.

Not sure this game was any kind of measure or the team. It felt like a pretty workman like scrimmage. Not much emotion and I'd bet it was one of the more poorly attended games of the season. For my part seeing a game in person will make the TV broadcast more live.

Thanks to Uber who also offered tickets. It's nice to have friends.

Glad that you were able to experience this for the first time in awhile; there is just something about seeing your team live that makes television a middling substitute....

Interesting that the official attendance was over 6,000. Shows how many season tickets have been sold.
I can't believe it was anywhere near 6,000. I would guess over half of the seats on the main level across from the teams were empty and behind the hoops was half empty. Hard to tell what was on the main level in front of me but if half the seats in the stadium were full, I'd be shocked. I'd have guessed one third capacity.

My point was, official attendance is driven by tickets sold, not butts in the seats. So there must be a pretty healthy season ticket contingent who elected to shop on black Friday rather than go to WRA. And the 6,322 comes from NU's official box score:
