Last season TS had many passes tipped. Against SU CT also had some tipped. Neither of them are short so who's at fault, the blocking or QB technique?
My guess is both as well as the receivers. There should be throwing lanes and for whatever reason, not finding them either because they are not there or they are missing them.Last season TS had many passes tipped. Was the problem happening when North was playing, and alleviated once Ian Park took over? That's an important observation.
He asked a question if the issue was with North in the role or was it regardless of the center. Also was it North that had the problem with high snaps? Those high snaps might have caused him to focus more on than that and not get a good first step.Except North returned to Center at the beginning of the second half............never let facts get in the way of an "important observation" though.

The high snaps occurred in the first half, before North was injured. Park did a great job, snaps were crisp and blocking good. I can't recall any bad snaps when North played in the second half, and the Stanford push was not as good as it was in the first half, probably because they were gassed from the number of offensive plays NU ran and the heat/humidity.
Doesn't hurt that their starting NG Phillips exited early in the second quarter with what turned out to be a season-ending ACL tear.
Too bad. That could hurt them as the season goes on.Doesn't hurt that their starting NG Phillips exited early in the second quarter with what turned out to be a season-ending ACL tear.
The entire line seemed to take a series or two to settle into game speed, which is slightly disappointing but hardly surprising. North got pushed around a bit early and Mogus got destroyed on the first series. After that, the line seemed to settle in a bit.
