They must have had an intern in the ticket office when I ordered extra tix for the Penn State game yesterday. It was like pulling teeth.

Also saw that they didn't guarantee the request for extra tix would be honored and that they go by priority points to allot the tix. That's all well and good, but as a season ticketholder of over 20 years, I'd better not be denied tickets for one of these home games where half the stadium is visiting fans, or that will be the end of my dealings with NU.

That seems odd. Maybe they are handling PSU differently but I wouldn't think so. PSU almost never has brought a lot of fans here over the years, with the exception of JoPa's 304 victory or whatever it was. I always got extra tickets and paid for them with my original orders as a STH and I don't believe Priority points had anything to do with it. This is interesting, maybe some new purple pricing plans or something but I would think that we wouldn't be close to any sellouts. Odd

It might have something to do with the price brokering. They wouldn't even give me seat numbers, just said it would be as close to my seats as possible. If they're out of seats, that's understandable, but I doubt that's the case. I don't see Penn State bringing a huge crowd given the state of their team the past few years, although I suppose that could change if they get out of the gate fast.

They do have new guys but that said, PSU does not travel well to Chicago. I do not see it starting this year. I would also guess that season ticket sales will be down this year because of a relatively weak (for draw, no dOSU, NEB, WIS, MICH. Strongest draw IA) OOC schedule. I would not think you will have any problem getting tickets for that game. I mean, I did not have any problems getting tickets for dOSU, WIS etc over the last couple years with increased Season ticket sales so I cannot see any problem getting PSU tickets this year.

I imagine I will get tickets. I just don't know why they can't tell me where the seats will be located. Either the tickets are available or they aren't.
