Michigan States crushes Penn State. NU can now pass the Nittany Lions with a win in State College this week.

OSU knocks off Iowa. Definitely helps the Buckeyes at large hopes (and thus our NIT chances).

Wisconsin over Michigan. Not sure what to think of this one. Good win for the Badgers (which strengthens our victory over them), but hurts Michigan's at large hopes and moves them closer to the NIT (not good for NU). The Wolverine's next game at home against Iowa might now fall under the must win category.

It's going to be an interesting Selection Sunday. There is so much parity in college basketball this year. Did anyone notice that Va. Tech is now at .500 in the ACC at 8-8? That road win keep looking better and better for us.

Iowa's lack of a consistent bench to relieve the starters seems to be catching up with them. Michigan and Ohio State both have too many holes to go deep in the NCAA. With Maryland and Iowa looking anything but impressive lately and given Indiana's dependence on the three-pointer and poor interior defense from Bryant, I think MSU looks like the only B1G team poised to make much of a run. We'll see how things go in the league tourney.

I think wisco could make a decent run too. Hard has done a great job. They have good talent and are peaking at the right time. Feel like we underestimate them overall on the board because of our victory over them.
