My ticket broker e-mailed that tickets were still available; but since we are paying Maryland, I expect it to be 90% NU fans. Will have to see how loud it gets and how many fans we will really have. I am hopeful that the arena is more than 80% filled. The win over Wiscy should increase the enthusiasm, but the start time may be a drag. It was mentioned by my broker that every other home game is sold out. I think this will make the little stadium a real home advantage. I do not see a CCC team not showing for big moment games.

on nusports.com, you can see the actual map of what seats are available. as of yesterday, it was full but definitely not close to being sold out. i hope and suspect that you're right that it will be predominantly purple in the house tonight!

Why do the seats on the South side of the arena sell more slowly than the North? Different price?

I'm guessing the hype and excitement are at very high levels on campus. It should be a great environment tonight.

ESPN has NU favored by 2 vs. the #23 Terps. Getting a little more respect now.

At the risk of sounding like wrassler, if we beat Maryland, we will likely return to the top 25.

Noted in Wash Post sports page today 2 things. One was lede line:
"Collins has Huskers ready for Terps" and second item "Maryland should be able" to beat Northwestern in Evanston tonight.

Cats must Be Ready.

Isn't the sold out Rutgers game a 5pm tip?

Traffic was light so I'm hanging at Enright's place if anyone wants to meet up and let me buy you a beer.

I'm wearing a '95 Barnett - era V neck black Champion windshirt pullover everybody else has. Jeans. The telltale is that I'm exactly on the elbow of the bar drinking Heineken - with pal wearing a camouflage Cubs world series hat.

I'm happy to buy beer for the first guy to find me.
