Tournament Coaching

Seems to me coaching in a tournament would be really different than during the season because of the quick turnaround. I have no idea what those differences would be. Are some coaches better at tournament time than others? or does it just come down to more athletics and less preparation?

Will NU have a meeting before the B1G tournament to coach the guys on how to watch the play in games as they transpire? Will they watch together?

Is it different preparation during the Conference tournament because you have played the teams at least once? than it will be in the big dance?

I remember conversations on the board that wishfully dreamt that once we got into a tournament with the PO we would have an advantage against teams that had never played against. Sadly, we never got to test that out.

I think better players make better coaches. Talent shows at conference tournament time.
