Hindsight is 20/20, but Fitz and co. maybe should consider the transfer portal for some help on depth for next year.

We could have used at minimum for this year: one TE and one DT for depth and experience.

Shifting Goens, Carinfax,and Blake has been a bust after Cam Green retired .

Agree totally. And has work4illinois and many other teams. Actually what I worry about now is the converse. Some of our players transferring. However, if they don't have NFL aspirations it would be foolish to give up the academic benefit of an NU degree

I doubt this. Probably a 4th year Junior that could be a grad transfer is the most likely candidate. Fessler type.
