I have always appreciated Tre's ability to create a shot anytime against anyone. In the past, I think he felt the burden of generating offense whenever he was on the court and this led to lower efficiency. Our depth this year has really helped him become a much better player in my opinion. Looking at his stats from the month of February, he has shot 50.7% (36 of 71) from the floor while averaging 3.14 assists in 7 games. Outstanding. A lot of people have focused on the development of the freshmen, but Tre may have come further this year than any of our players.
