I reached out to the Georgia Tech transfer O-lineman this weekend. He's finishing up summer school classes this week and will report to NU on Aug. 1. (He graduated with his class at GT a couple months ago but still needed to finish classes over the summer for his degree.)
It's too bad he couldn't have been with the team this summer. Coming from a triple-option attack, it would have benefited him a lot, I'm sure. But he does have two years left. I expect him to compete for that right tackle job with Gunnar Vogel, Andrew Otterman, Jesse Meyler and whomever else is in the mix. He's by far the most experienced player of that group, even if he's never played a snap in NU's offense.
