TS Contract question

Someone on this board said that he has a 4 million dollar contract. Is that guaranteed or does he have to make the team to get it? If not guaranteed and he gets claimed by another team when the Broncos try to put him on the practice squad would the next team then have to pay him?

I would sure like to see him get a big payday for all he went through at NU.

That was Turk, so you know it's completely wrong. He has a 4 year, 2.3M contract through some quick Googling. The only guaranteed money is $52,784 he got as a signing bonus.

As with the majority of NFL contracts, it likely isn't guaranteed. Would have to stick on the active roster for a couple years to get that contract.

He would have to make roster to get that. They are paid weekly total of 17 payments If they are on roster all year. Practice players get around 5-6 grand a week for around a 100,000 per year! If they are called up at all during season they automatically get three week NFL minimum weekly check regardless if I they are sent back to practice squad before that.
