Thanks for the memories but I plan on retiring the "Turk 182" jersey after the BB season, and the Turk handle.

Turk is a 3rd person, sorta like Bruce Wayne and Batman. When I put on the "Turk 182" jersey, I'm turk. But I'm really a quiet modest guy. It's nuts. But it has come to the end. "Turk 182" is a movie and that is the reason for the shrt. I didn't want to get the name or number of a particular player because players come and go as NU lives. I knew "Turk" would stay. At any rate, it's been real but I'm becoming a normal fan and really don't feel the need to go into a phone booth anymore to become a 3rd person psycho fan.

Obviously, I could care less about credibility or who I piss off or excite. When I put on the Turk jersey, it's only NU sports I think about, but it's time to put the jersey in the closet as Turk is getting too damn old for this S*&T and gaining too much damn weight that I gotta lose to become the new and improved fan.

So, I'm gonna wind it down folks. Some will appreciate that, and I can't blame them, and I am getting too damn old for this. I don't want to become "Woo woo" from the cubs, although I love the guy. I been winding down my time on here but between my grandson and my GF, I only plan on popping in on this site from time to time.

Am I going to continue being a fan of NU? Well, hell yes I am, but "Turk" and my "cape" will be retired.

Go Cats!

All this to tell us you're changing your jersey and handle?

Glades, you are usually way more perceptive than that. Note the term “farewell tour”. How could you miss what Turk is saying to us, implicitly?

Farewell tours are all about getting adoring fans to gather in order to pay homage and moreover. almost without exception, farewell tours are associated with gifts being given at the conclusion of short speeches by appropriate dignitaries.

Not knowing Turk, the gift might be anything I suppose -- but I imagine this is kind of indicative or illustrative of the general idea: http://www.rides-mag.com/car-featur...c-escalade-alwaystrending/#purp_escalade-21-2

Can we assume the flat earth theories go into the closet with Turk as well? :D
