I expect Glades to eat two meals per dinner - one for himself, and one for me, the Waterboy. If NU wins, all of you three must eat a 2nd dinner. consecutively and at the table before you depart the restaurant... no doggie bags allowed!

Watch out if you order barbecue. You might get some of that South Carlina stuff where the sauce is mustardy.
Correct it is North Carolina style vinegar based. They all did the pulled pork and I went for the ribs.
It's a full time job being FloridAlum's navigator and supervising his behavior on these purple road trips. It's not a good thing to be tossed out of a country BBQ place (of all places) for shouting F-bombs.
Imo he has lost some hearing. His F bombs were somewhat loud. But the blueberry pie was the stuff. Cant find restaurants like this up in chicago. Everything was homemade and even the hushpuppies were phenomenal.
South has good barbecue, but they fry almost everything else, which is one reason they have some of the country's highest obesity rates and lowest life spans. I can feel my arteries harden when I eat down there on vacations. To each his own.
Eastern Carolina v. Western Carolina. Mayo and horseradish (mostly mayo) white sauce vs. ketchup (or other red type) and vinegar and substance( sugar, molasses, honey). White sauce is unbelievably good on chicken and incredibly simple. Check out Raichlen's Barbecue USA for a recipe.
Mustard is commonly used as 'glue' for dry rubs on pork shoulder and ribs and a ton of people use mustard powder in their rubs.
A great rib needs no sauce. Pulled pork likes vinegar, sweet, red sauce.
