Turning point

The big guy blocked everything near him. Then he got hurt. We drive through the lane like nothing. He comes back and starts clogging the lane.

He doesn't come back, we win
I thought it was when Barnhizer got an offensive rebound and had a wide open look under the basket and threw it up over his head and missed. He did a nice job on the boards but he looked nervous offensively today. He got another offensive rebound at the end and dribbled into the lane and missed. I was hoping he was going to get it to Audige or Buie.

But he has a bright future. I think he will become a consistent offensive force.

It was his first off scoring night since, like, January. Bright bright future.

I went back and watched parts of the second half again. That missed Barnizer layup on the offensive rebound was tough. Would have cut the lead to one point. We ended up getting possession back on a tie-up there but couldn't capitalize. Next possession, MN was fouled on a nice putback at the rim, but the ball went in and out. He made one free throw, but if that shot had gone in, NU could have tied the game there. Later (at the four minute mark), again down by three, Chase had a great look from the corner, but his shot went in and out.

It's a game of inches. If one of those shots had fallen, NU would have been in better position to win at the end. So close.

Agreed. Collins has said a bunch that this team has a very small margin for error. They played another good team and had a chance to win. All you could ask. Audige and Buie really went out like champions in the 2nd half. We had 2 of the 3 best players on the court.
