Two-year non-conference series scheduled with ASU, to be played in NBA arenas

That's cool
Not so sure. Unless it is part of a multi team tourney or double header at United Center, the place will be empty. And while we have a brand new facility on campus. Also means not part of ST package like the Wrigley games in FB

My guess is the UC knows this too and has some deal in principle with Illinois to bring someone for a doubleheader (or can draw two teams who want to play in Chicago for a second game).

Almost certainly the case. It'll be like the first tournament year when we played Dayton at the UC as part of a doubleheader with Illinois-BYU.

The game this season in Phoenix is part of a double-header with Arizona/Alabama. I assume the United Center game will be a double-header as well.
