Was not a fan of his game early in the year, but really came around to him as the year went on. A pretty limited player, but exceptional at knowing his role and going all in on it. His ability to play within himself and focus on the small things he does well made him a valuable player and earned him a spot in the rotation.

Enjoyed his one year with the Cats. Seems like a good guy too.

Tydus always seemed to have a smile on his face. You could see he really enjoyed playing the game of basketball. Took him a bit to get acclimated to the step up in competition from UTEP, but he turned out to be a very valuable contributor to this year's squad.
Good luck to him as he moves on with his life. He will have some memories he will never forget from being a member of NU's 2nd tournament team.

He's from NorCal. It meant a lot to him to play near his hometown.

He was overmatched as a starter — as we knew he would be — and really grew into his role. He was a solid, solid bench presence for most of the conference season. He goes down as a key rotation member of the best Cats team in at least the last half-century.

If Beran, a pretty good defender, comes back, could he fill TV's role as a smaller, quicker post defender. He would have more offensive possibilities and would allow Barnhizer to start. I still believe Beran has so much more to offer than CC has been able to extract. Maybe demanding a more physical role from him would lead to more assertiveness. Having a turn and shoot option off the high screens could be valuable. Hunger could provide depth at the 4 or 5

The team really seemed to like Tydus, and Tydus really seemed to like his teammates. As important as team chemistry is, it is often overlooked for a variety of reasons. We were very fortunate that in a single season, 'friendships were born, and a lifetime of brotherhood developed'.
