I'm in Phoenix this weekend and decided to go to today's Suns vs. Celtics game instead of watching the NU game on television (I followed it on my phone). Tyler Ulis, a rookie on the Suns, scored 20 points and hit the game-winning three-pointer at the buzzer. It was an amazing finish - the Suns were down by two, came down and scored the tying basket on a layup, then stole the inbounds pass and hit a three to win.

I post this here because I remember that Ulis was a Chicago kid who was recruited by NU but who ultimately chose Kentucky after they offered late. He's small, and the knock against him coming out of high school and then again out of college was that he couldn't compete with the bigger guys. Well he proved them wrong at Kentucky, and now he's proving them wrong again in the NBA. Good story. The kid is a spark plug and is tough as nails.
