We're having the nastiest heat wave that I can remember in my 26 years living here in SoCal. There is an Excessive Heat warning citywide across the region with guidance to stay indoors. It certainly would have been over 100 degree in the Rose Bowl during game time yesterday.
TV, probably. Most teams would play at 2am on a parking lot surface if the TV deal is lucrative enough.
Well they’re playing top 10 USC - so some CFB fans would consider the Rose Bowl to be packed with excrement right now. (Not me personally; the Trojans never bothered me much.) I haven’t gotten many opportunities to watch PAC12 football the past few years, so I turned this one on.
UCLA is also a top 20 team but there appear to be a lot of empty seats for this one.
It’s a good thing - for them and us - that the B1G doesn’t put much weight on in person attendance.
It was cold in Michigan, but the upper sections had plenty of fans who looked a lot like bleachers for their top three team today.
Blatantly false. Dook is having an impressive year and an example of how quickly the right coaching can turn it around. Elko has done a really nice job there taking over for a long running incumbent (Cutcliffe).
Our fans should appreciate their turnaround story. I hope we emulate it next year.

Dook hasn't beaten any FBS team with a winning record and they almost let Northwestern tie it up at the end of regulation. I'm just not impressed.
