So I connected with Valpo transfer prospect Javon Freeman last night. He visited NU for an official on Thursday and Friday. He's not a very verbose kid, but he gave the visit -- his first since announcing his transfer -- a 10 and called NU his leader. Also, there doesn't seem to be any other schools in the picture right now. He heard from San Diego State, Creighton, TCU and a couple others right after he announced his transfer, but he told me that he hadn't heard from any of them in a while. He doesn't seem to be in any hurry to make a decision, but he seems like NU's to lose right now.
