John Petrishen is "high on Northwestern" and wants to take an official visit to Evanston. The problem is going to be finding the time.
The three-star safety from Pittsburgh (Pa.) Central Catholic has official visits planned for three consecutive weekends in January, leading up to National Signing Day on Feb. 4. He's visiting Pittsburgh the weekend of Jan. 16-18, Penn State on Jan. 23-25 and Virginia on Jan. 30-Feb. 1.
That means that he will likely visit Northwestern during the week.
"I talked with the Northwestern coaches and we plan on making my official during the week," Petrishen said tonight via text message. "I would like to take one on the weekend, but that's not possible because of the available weekends left."
I reached Petrishen while he was at Heinz Field for tonight's Steelers-Bengals game. I will talk to him tomorrow to get more information.
