Here's what I got with my iPhone stopwatch for NU's players. They ran twice, so here's each of their best times:

Chi Chi 4.63
Green 4.81
Hall 4.45 (!)
Prater 4.65
Carter 5.3 (I only timed one)
Vitabile 5.1 (I only timed one)

I think these are probably fairly close. NU will release an official time later, but that's derived by taking the consensus time from several of the scouts on hand.

Hall has always been a great athlete. The issue has always been getting him to translate that athleticism to being a football player.

So the numbers we're hearing on Hall are 4.45 in the 40, vert of 39.5" and broad jump of 127". Assuming he's being looked at as a safety, that would tie him for the fastest 40 time at the combine and give him the highest vert (by a half inch) and second longest broad jump.

If for some reason he were classified as an outside LB, he'd have the fastest 40 time (by 0.6 seconds), second highest vertical and second longest broad jump compared to combine participants.

I'm going to assume the numbers we're hearing are incorrect.

Official pro day times, courtesy of Inside NU:

Jimmy Hall: 4.50 seconds
Kyle Prater: 4.71 seconds
Chi Chi Ariguzo: 4.73 seconds
Treyvon Green: 4.89 seconds
Brandon Vitabile: 5.14 seconds
Chance Carter: 5.35 seconds

I was pretty close. Chi Chi was the one I was the furthest off from.
