Video: Fitz post-practice

Auston Anderson

I think my biggest takeaway from this is that Auston Anderson is not anywhere close to being a contributor for next season like some people have been predicting. Oh, and also that he's a "dynamic" person. Dynamic.

Klou--- That's not what I took away from the sound bite:

He is close to healthy but not 100% after the hip injury. After over a year layoff, he needs to continue to work himself back into football shape. Which you would expect at this stage of his development. He is playing catch up with his peers. 5th practice of his college career and 2nd day in full pads He has to work on his technique and has some learning to do with the offense and his role. Eliminate some bad habits he brought with him from HS, Which you would expect for any new player after 4 practices at the college level. This is what spring practice is for. Will gain more confidence with more reps at the position and on the field. Fitz likes his attitude and "dynamic" personality and expects his skills to fully translate to the field with more work and confidence on the field.
You have a full slate of spring and summer practices ahead. I just saw a clip on Saturday from a nice run in practice, so there is definitely a place for him when fully healthy.
