Where would an out of towner park to tailgate before the Iowa/NW game?

Just kidding.

There are grass parking lots (golf course) about 3 blocks east of the stadium. It's not cheap, but it is convenient. There is also a lot operated by the VFW about 4 blocks east on Central, immediately east of the canal (where we dump the OSU bodies).

Thanks for the suggestions. What about the free on campus lots? They any good?

You can tailgate for free on campus. There are shuttles on game day that come every 10 mins or so. Or you can always walk for 30 mins to get to the stadium.

I always liked tailgating in the parking lot in front of kemper hall. The only problem is there is construction going on near there as the new on-campus athletic facility will be next door. So I am not 100% certain that the parking lot is open this year.

When you arrive, be sure to stop by and see the ancient alien mother ship that recently landed on the beaches of North Campus.

Best view would be from Lincoln, east of Sheridan ... just around the bend in the road. A brief detour of no more than 5 minutes from your route to the stadium if you tailgate on campus.

Seriously. It's unlike anything else you will ever see on a college football Saturday.

Golf Course Parking Lots South and North require Parking Passes. There was talk of Golf Course Parking Lot Center across from Hospital ER, but don't believe NU was granted permission?
