Vote for Collins!

Thrilled that CC is in the Final Four. I just wish they had chosen a different picture of Chris. He looks vaguely dyspeptic here.

Two horse race between Collins and Few (Wright? Please.....)
It seems CCC has no competition. The other coaches lead major programs that last year also did very well.

Villanova obviously did much worse this year since they were the defending national champs and only managed to reach round 2 (defeated by Wisky).

Kansas last year was a #1 seed and reached the E8, where it lost to Villanova. Unless Kansas win the NC, it would be hard for them to argue they made a big improvement, and even if they do win it (need first to beat Purdue and keep winning), the jump from 8th to 1st isn't very big (they finished #3 in the postseason coaches poll).

Gonzaga might be the strongest competitor *IF* it at least reaches the NC game. Last year they failed to advance to the E8 (as likely will happen this year). If they do reach the NC game they could claim a big jump, but just improving from the S16 to the F4 may not be perceived as sufficiently big to merit a CoY award.

As opposed to the above, CCC went from non-postseason last year (and never at the NCAA's for the NU program), to the round of 32 (easily the S16 with fair officiating). So, his CV for CoY is far strongest (with the possible exceptions given above).
