I was VERY impressed with AWs post game int. with Ted Albrecht on WGN. Well spoken young man and a SUPERB attitude. We are very lucky to have him for the next 2 plus years! What a great kid!

Are you including this season when you say "next 3 years"? Cause after this season he only has 2 years left.

All time NCAA leaders in career tackles:
Tim McGarigle, Northwestern (2002-05): 545
Luke Keuchly, Boston College (2009-11): 532
Rod Davis, Southern Miss (2000-03): 526

But yes, Walker may be our best ever (including PF) if he stays healthy.

Nick Roach was pretty fantastic too. I think he would've been a fairly high draft pick if he didn't get hurt.

I'm already worrying about losing him early. He's a true junior and therefore eligible after this season...

I wouldn't worry about that. He is too small to play LB in the pros right now. He'd be crazy to declare for the draft.

Unfortunately, McGarigle had to make a lot more tackles than he should have as our defenses were pretty leaky in those days.
