What a game! Not sure why he only got two carries but made the most of them. Had the 55 yard TD that broke the game open and recovered the muffed punt to seal the game. He had great punt coverage the whole game

I believe that the reason was that there were a ton of punts today. Being a special teams player in this heat, I suspect this reduced his usual workload....

Did you notice that he matched strides with Duke CB Saxton on the TD run? Saxton did not have an angle, but he wasn't able to make up any ground on the 210 lb Long.

I'd like to see Long and a couple of our other backs get some carries. Jackson is a tough kid, but he's taking a lot of hits and we're not even into the B1G season yet.
