Not many replays and I didn't Tivo it, but some comments after a second viewing (from Ryan v replay

Justin Jackson is a special talent. Please stay healthy. We have a hardworking line that is NOT a prototypical Wisconsin line, but he can do great things with the limited amount of room they give him. Good to have at least two guys behind him to spell him.

Speaking of, good to see the SS Mertz set sail. He was a little slow laterally, but the guy had a hat on a guy most of the game. Whiffed on a couple and looked kinda gassed. I'm rooting for him.

Henry looks like he wants that leadership mantle that IC had. Dude was all over the place. Walker as well but everyone in the country knows that now. All part of a physical, athletic, aggressive defense that gets after it. IDK if Stanford is any good but surely they are better than Cal and others that beat us last year. We still do some of that 3 man rush stuff but the talent of the DB's is pretty high, it might be ok against most QB's (occasionally)

A guy i had not met, a 06 alum, bought the fourth seat in our group. He was a kindred spirit - every time Thorson took of, we were both saying "throw it, go down, get out of bounds!". We were relieved when he had alligator arms on the throw back to him. I want the kid to play for 52 games, at least. Too many QB injuries in the past few years.

Didn't hear NVH called much but it kind of dawned on me - they don't throw much at him. I was hearing last week about their large, physical WR's, but not much happened on his watch. Not sure yet if he or Harris whiffed on that long run by #5 McCaffrey

So glad to see 14 back. Reminds me of 98 when Bates returned (except the team looks to be much better than that)

Concerned about Vitale. Need him to step up. Shuler did, and people say Cam's hand issues are behind him. Need DV to be a star.

Jack Mitchell is cool as a cucumber.

Not ready to give up on Niswander yet. He may yet get the kinks out. It's in there...

I've been griping about people saying that the talent is better than before. Finally seeing it, especially on defense.

Without a doubt we should all be excited about AWalk. He is an impact player who is only going to improve.

That said, there was one (mis)play by him that I found vexing. It was during the last Stanford drive, near midfield, when he missed a tackle in zone coverage on a completion to the tight end. If he breaks down and makes a form tackle, it saves ten yards, a set of downs (I think), and probably is worth 15-20 seconds. He appeared to overrun the play--perhaps going for a big hit.

Most of us hate the Prevent defense, but we played it well very late by forcing Stanford to gain yards in small chunks, eating up precious time. The commentators were well aware of this. AWalk's miss was probably the only glaring mistake in the drive that I can recall.
