On top of the great defense and working through our own missed shots, I'd like to give credit to the students at the game. Great to see the support behind both the east and west baskets. Not only does it help the team, but it also creates a great environment for all the fans. Go 'Cats! PS - After 2 and a half games griping about Bryant McIntosh, it was great to drive home with my friend saying: "That dude put us on his back and carried us."

There is no better campus sports experience than standing in an energized student section at W-R. A close, entertaining win like that will translate into more attendance Saturday and onward.

1) No sh*t!! Kudos to the students for carrying the place.

2) Anybody know the origin of the "Phyllis" chant at the east end?

3) I know the purple seats are a dead issue, but excuse me for a moment. How filled were the lower bowl purples? Maybe 60%? Pitiful.

4) Want to know the true sign when the program has changed? It will be when the arena doesn't go dead silent when the visiting team goes on a 7-2 run pulling them ahead by 3. And at various times with more than 10 minutes left in the game.

There is such an atmosphere of doom and gloom. This team has already shown they are a bit different.

The only problem with the student sections was the free-throw defense. They did some of their usual stuff, but Wake kept knocking them down. Looking forward to the students stepping it up by B1G season.
