Take the W and move on, but that was a bit close for comfort. Here's to hoping Mick learned to trust Thorson a bit -- kid was pretty solid in the second half when the playbook opened up a bit and Mick kept letting him throw down the stretch. Going to need his arm to win at least a couple times this year (like he largely did tonight).

Mentioned this elsewhere but this was exactly the kind of game we needed to have as we head into B1G games...ugly close call that will remind our players not even being 20-point favorites guarantees a win - should make for a good practice week and have us as prepared as we can possibly be for Minny next week. And I would be fine with never playing another night game at Ryan Field again. We pay like sh*t.

Ifaedi was in at the end. Sounds like Mogus and Godwin had concussions. Saw Garrett D on crutches. Was tough to see, but take the W and move on. Also, Frazier was in full pads on sideline. Hope we can add him back next week.
